Tuesday was trekking with Terry. Our exchange co-ordinator leads a trekking activity and we go along whenever we can. This time it was up the tele-cabine to La Berneuse. Then the hike down past the little farm with the scrumtious pies. This time we went cross-country to Les Fers, and then returned to Leysin village. Great hike.
We went to Terry's for supper and had some delicious cabbage 'pancakes' (there is a Japanese name for them... I don't remember...)
Our friend from SRSS, Leona Woodmass arrived in town Tuesday night. She is on a European adventure of her own this summer and found some time to look us up.
