Aug. 10, Monday

Headed into Geneva at 8am, as Joanne's Mom needed to be at the airport for 10am. After the big goodbye we headed into Geneva central. We found parking right downtown, and then began wandering on foot. We took a boat ride on the lake for an hour before lunch. Saw the Jet Of Water and some big and no doubt expensive estates.

After a nice lunch at a place in the old town (Bill Clinton ate there in the 90's... they have a plaque to prove it!!) we wandered more. Found the Wall of the Reformers. Cool monument... huge!

After doing some window shopping for expensive watches (!) and finding the flower clock, we headed back to the airport to drop Neil off. He was able to change his flight and so we headed towards Leysin. Made a stop at a huge Coop store and a quick (30min) run through Ikea. Home for the evening.
